Steps to update Mobile Number, E-mail, Aadhaar Number in CGHS Database

Q. How to update Mobile Number, E-mail, Aadhaar Number in CGHS Database 

Ans. Steps to update Mobile Number, E-mail, Aadhaar Number in CGHS Database There are 2 ways to update the mobile number of a beneficiary:
1. By Beneficiary Login � When beneficiary has registered as well as new mobile number.
2. By CMO In - Charge � When beneficiary has not registered mobile number yet or does not have registered mobile number.
Case - I: Steps to update mobile number by Beneficiary Login:
Step 1: Click on the link �Beneficiary login� on cghs.nic.in
The following screen appears

Step 2: Enter the beneficiary id of any of the family members and the password in the screen shown above 
If a beneficiary doesn�t have the password, click on the option �Generate Password�
The following screen will appear:-

Enter the beneficiary id of main card holder, date of birth and mobile no. that exists in the CGHS database and click on Register button.

OTP is sent to the registered mobile no.

Step 3: The beneficiary can then enter beneficiary id and password on screen shown in step 1 to print plastic cards of family members or update mobile number, email, Aadhaar Number or view medicine history etc.
Click on relevant option like �Update Mobile No�.

Step 4: The desired screen is displayed for updating the mobile no

Step 5: Enter the mobile numbers of the self/dependents and click on submit button.

Case- II: Step to update Mobile Number if already not registered or registered mobile is not with beneficiary

In case the mobile number of a beneficiary is not available in CGHS database or does not have already registered mobile number, in such cases the beneficiary has to approach the CMO In -Charge of respective wellness centre with his/her mobile.

The CMO In-Charge will update the mobile against the beneficiary id. An OTP will be received on beneficiary�s mobile number that will be communicated to CMO In-Charge to finally update the mobile no. of the beneficiary.

OFFICE ORDER

Subject: Suspension of empanelment of Rockland Hospital, Qutab Institutional Area, New Delhi under CGHS.

With reference to the above mentioned matter, the undersigned is directed to draw attention to the Office Memorandum No. S-11045/36/2012-CGHS (HEC) dated 01.10.2014 vide which Rockland Hospital, Qutab Institutional Area, New Delhi was empanelled under CGHS and to state that Rockland Hospital, Qutab Institutional Area, New Delhi was asked to submit reply to a show cause notice issued regarding permission letter obtained by the hospital for treatment of one CGHS pensioner beneficiary in the hospital. However, the reply submitted by the hospital has not been found to be satisfactory and so it has been decided to suspend empanelment of Rockland Hospital, Qutab Institutional Area, New Delhi from CGHS with immediate effect for a period of three months or till further orders.

The CGHS beneficiaries already admitted in the hospital for treatment prior to the issue of this order shall continue to be provided treatment at CGHS rates till their discharge within a period of 7 days. Bill of patients discharged after 7 days of issue of this order shall be submitted with proper justification for consideration by CGHS.

Subject: Revision of Ceiling Rates for Knee and Hip Implants under CGHS and CS(MA) Rules

with reference to the above mentioned subject the undersigned is directed to draw attention to this Ministry�s OM No.S.11018/1/95-CGHS (P), dated the 7th March, 1995 vide which ceiling rates for Knee and Hip implants under CGHS and CS(MA) Rules have been prescribed and to state that it has now been decided by competent authority to revise the ceiling rates and guidelines for Knee and Hip implants under CGHS and CS(MA) rules as per the details given under the succeeding paragraphs.

3. The rates prescribed shall be valid till further orders and are applicable to Implants of any name/category/comented/non-cemented.

4. The ceiling rates are applicable for treatment taken in government hospitals/ private empanelled hospitals/ other private hospitals.

5. Institutions such as hospitals utilizing knee implants shall specifically and separetely mention the cost of the knee implant component-wise along with its brand name, name of manufacturer/importer/batch no./specifications and other details, if any in their estimate/proforma invoice/final billing,etc.,

6. Prior permission of Competent Authority may be obtained before undergoing knee/hip Implant surgery.

7. This issues with the approval of competent authority and concurrence of Integrated Finance Division vide Dy.No.C.No.3119442, dated 30.08.2017.

NOTIFICATION

Sub: Opening of CGHS Wellness Centres (Allopathic) at Aizawl-Regarding.

This is for information to all eligible Central Govt, Employees, Pensioners & other stake holders that, Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) Wellness Centres sanction vide No.S.11045/1/2013/HEC, New Delhi dated 17th November, 2014 will be inaugurated on 10th October, 2017 by Chief Secretary, Govt. of Mizoram in presence of Director CGHS & Addl. Director, CGHS, Guwahati at New Secretariat Complex, Khatla, Aizawl-796 001 to provide comprehensive medical facilities. All stakeholders are requested to be present in the above cited occasion.

The scheme will cover Aizawl city. All eligible Central Govt. Employees and their dependent family members, Central Govt. Pensioners and their dependents and others eligible beneficiaries as per CGHS guideline residing in Aizawl city. Separate notification will be issue for enrollment and application for CGHS card.

The beneficiaries will be able to avail the CGHS facilities through the Wellness  Centre during office hours i.e. from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm in all working days except on Sunday & holidays.
